Welcome to the Mount Martin Ski Club! With more than 60 years of alpine skiing in Deep River, we have provided great outdoor fun for entire families for generations. We are always expanding our features in our terrain park for snowboarders of all ages. For skiers, we even have an official “glade run” between Chute and Avalanche. The trees have been thinned and the brush removed so that you will be able to ride/ski through the trees. We are adding new features to the terrain park including some designed especially for our younger members - we are even in the planning stages of adding a "junior" terrain park. On the social side, we plan to revitalize Adult Night on Tuesdays and try out activities geared to our youth members on Friday night.
Thursday afternoons from 1-4 pm are reserved for those 19+, a great opporutnity to catch some much needed sunshine!
Last season was one of the best in recent memory and one in which a great deal was done to maintain and upgrade our facilities. We improved the terrain park by adding rails and a box, added a sound system, replaced much of the lighting wiring, built a new maintenance shop, and insulated the groomer garage. The maintenance shop proved to be invaluable throughout the season especially after parts on the Ts were found to be prone to cracking and had to be replaced. As a result of these investments, we hope to see many new and returning members so that was can begin to rebuild our now-depleted reserves to allow for future capital improvements.
