The Nancy Greene League is a fun team racing activity for young skiers up to age 12 as of December 31.  Saturday lessons will emphasize racing technique as well as basic skills instruction.  This is included in the racing fee.  Do not sign up for other instruction in addition to the Nancy Greene program.  Most races are held on Sundays.  Participation at the races is very important in building our team, and team medals are awarded considering both participation and overall team technical results.

The Patterson (Senior) Racing  series is a racing program open to skiers from 12 to 16 years of age as of December 31.  Skiers compete as individuals and as a team.  Racing instruction and coaching (included in the fee) are offered on Saturdays in Deep River.  Races will be held in conjunction with the Nancy Greene league, at the various local and regional hills.  Individual medals are awarded as well as overall team medals.

To enroll in the racing program the UOVSZ waiver form must be submitted before the first race.  This form is distributed to racers at the start of the season.

Nancy Greene Racing (ages 6 – 12) ~ $125.00 (includes fees)

Mount Martin Ski Club holds local club championship races for skiing and snowboarding at the end of the season for all members!  Trophies and medals are awarded for boys and girls up to age 16 and to the Masters.  This is a great way to try out racing and see if it’s for you and your family.  Racing on the MMSC team is an excellent way to improve technique and visit some of the other community hills in the Ottawa Valley for a little variety.
